This use of time is symbolic of Shiva’s association with Kaal (Time), reflecting his eternal nature as Mahakaal—the lord of time. Each Jyotirlinga stands apart, spaced along the vertical journey, adding a unique dimension to the experience and reinforcing the theme of time’s infinite flow.
The central core of the building hosts allied activities, like the dark room, where guests are invited to experience various sacred rituals and experiences, further deepening their connection to the divine. These spaces offer reflective moments that complement the larger journey and make each visit a deeply personal, transformative experience.
